The Leviathan Project
-
@stinkwheeler Ah cheers bud. Well believe it or not, when I started this bike I didn't know a think about mechanics. So all it takes is one project to get up to speed.
It's a good build, but you haven't spent enough time looking at other peoples builds on this forum yet to call it the best There is a lot of talent on this website, whether it be restoring a classic like @scrimsmustang & @oldman or going all out on the tuning like @Darty & @Louis-James. Definitely worth checking out their builds that they have done!

@2stroke4smoke your joking right? He canβt sell his baby
-
@2stroke4smoke Yeah it's just in a lock up now. Collecting dust. Never even rode it after all that hard work lol.
-
@2stroke4smoke I've had it over 8 years now. I've not got the interest in riding it anymore.
-
@2stroke4smoke Doubtful. The bike will be used one day. Just not for a few years yet.

@calum I've seen alot of the builds on here including the 170 builds ect i should have phrased it differently i should have said one of my favourite builds rather than the best like you said before its all preferance I've had a few dts and hope to own a few more but out of them the supermotos are more my thing and i was planning on the jollymoto tail pipe and alot of those mods that you have done before i read the thread hence why its one of my faves
-
@stinkwheeler Yeah I know mate, I just like to dish out the credit to others. We all draw inspiration from somewhere, it's nice to be referenced for my hard work. Thanks.

Hey let us resurrect a dead thread...
Got the DT out of storage and it runs like turd. Battery is dead.
Bought a lithium battery for it. They are cheap now. Β£50 and it has 1/4 the weight. It's smaller too. And still packs enough punch to power the starter.

@NINJA I had a handmade underslung pipe from Romeu on my DTR and wow it made a difference once she was jetted correctly!! Couldnt tell you BHP wise but it certainly made a huge difference, absolute flier! And as poster said, sounds THE tits!
