@NINJA I wished but I play the hands I’m dealt, I’m real struggling with the bolt that connects the linkage with the frame anyone have any tips it’s really stuck in there
-
@declan Squirt plenty of WD40 on it, let it soak in for a good hour then apply some heat. Use a nice long torque wrench and give it some welly. If that fails then repeat the first steps, then use an impact driver on the stubborn bugger.

-
@NINJA there’s no way to put a socket or wrench on it I got the nut off and gave the bolt a few whacks but if I hit It anymore it will ruin the bolt
-
I put impact driver on bolt end and just kept spinning it and applying wd40, still not easy and takes a while :, leave for a day or two if necessary. Have spare swingarm end bearings soaking in diesel as we speak, Been there 3 days so far!
-
@oldman how can you get an impact on it? I can’t fit any of my spanner’s or any ratchets it fouls against the frame
-
Happened on my red one so a while ago, sure I used extension bar and impact driver, rotated bolt and kept lubing, was a right ba@#%&red to get out. You have my sympathy.
So I finally managed to hammer my linkage free I used a soft aluminium washer on the bolt so I didn’t damage it hitting it here’s a few pics of my bushings, thankfully all of my relay bolts are in almost perfect condition and the grease nipples aren’t seized! I cleaned them up real good for the picture

@oldman again was like that when I bought it I greased them when I got the bike I was using it as an off-road bike so I wasn’t bothered about pitting
Just a rough paint so far but you can see what I’m going for https://imgur.com/a/Zw6uzqJ

The yoke looks mint irl but it doesn’t show through on the camera it’s a wrinkle black paint which will be my accent paint for the bike and of course it had to be gold rims the gold is the faded vintage colour that I like
