-
well guys for chrismas i got a PKW 32 keihin carb off my old man Looks mint he said its good for a 125cc upto a tuned 200cc will upload photos later on.
-
@Walney-Reptiles your dad is a good man!
-
heres some photos all shiney and new
-
The carb looks tall for a DT, did you try fitting it already? Maybe only the gas linkage mount will need changing.
-
Previously fitted a PWK 32 carb to a 2003 dt and the carb is quite small pictured next to a Mikuni TM 30. Fitted it to a modified 2003 dt inlet manifold, throttle cable outer needs shortening by 30mm carb end and with a warm air filter rubber fits over.
-
@theportingmaster cheersa for your post mate ill have to stick with the PWK32 or now as it was a crimbo prezzie, what jet size did you use on the pwk on the 2003 dt? would be good to know. cheers buddy!
-
@jonne123 there,s a few topics on this site already buddy try reading through them, this is for posting about my progress on my project
-
Hi @Walney-Reptiles used a K135 main jet with a K38 slow jet fitted to a standard airbox. Bike had a Gianelli full system on it.
-
Hi @jonne123 carbon reeds only make a difference really to fully modified engines when all other mods are done as it is a
combination of all tuning mods matched that makes a difference and carbon reeds do nothing for a standard engine.
I fit them to most engines I build as make them myself as easy to make them and cost around £1 a set to make. -
