I wont be able to get you the sizes until i go back to work on Monday as i keep everythink there as it where im going tobe rebuilding my bike

@Walney-Reptiles well with your setup i would recommend some 28mm - 32mm carb. for example a mikuni tm28 or a keihin pwk 28. im running a keihin pwk 36 on my dt but i have a 170cc kit on it. its still too big for the bike

cheers buddy, il keep this in-mind

                    Project Update!!

Soo i have had to Design a HeadSet Spacer for my new forks to fit, as the new taper bearing for the old forks dosnt fit the steering shaft on my new forks so i have designed this using Onshape, I have Ordered some Alliminium Tube which is 56mmOD 32mmID 12mmWall 200mm in lenth for £15 next thing todo is 3Dprint a Prototype then test fit then get my freind's Lathe going and make one out of the Alliminium 😄

The carb looks tall for a DT, did you try fitting it already? Maybe only the gas linkage mount will need changing.

Should be okay, I don't recall there being height clearance issues when fitting the VHSA. Be good to see how this fairs up.

Previously fitted a PWK 32 carb to a 2003 dt and the carb is quite small pictured next to a Mikuni TM 30. Fitted it to a modified 2003 dt inlet manifold, throttle cable outer needs shortening by 30mm carb end and with a warm air filter rubber fits over.

Hi @jonne123 carbon reeds only make a difference really to fully modified engines when all other mods are done as it is a
combination of all tuning mods matched that makes a difference and carbon reeds do nothing for a standard engine.
I fit them to most engines I build as make them myself as easy to make them and cost around £1 a set to make.
