@HOTSHOT-III Would definitely like to see that. Would make for an interesting build for sure. I was surprised to see cast pistons in this kit, but apparently I have to junk them anyway to go with the stroker kit I bought as the wrist pin offset is different. So I've got a few more things to buy before this is called done.

Snooping around the house I found these items [image: HwZdTZw.jpeg] I shudder think what I spend on these things and I don't even remember half the time! This is a sort of budget build though. [image: YGR0dxG.jpeg] I ummed and arred but I was just going to reuse the handlebars that came with this bike. They're in pretty bad shape, but easy enough to replace should I want to put some prettier ones on. Front wheel fitted, front brake disassembled, need pads and it'll be good to go. [image: SyyH0qs.jpeg] Front tyre looks good, so happy to reuse this for the moment. Just needs pads. [image: iGR4VtG.jpeg] I would have got the rear wheel fitted, but ran out of steam. Save that for next weekend.

Cheers @HOTSHOT-III. No me neither, but there seems to be some sort of cult following for this specific bike. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266746773795?_skw=inbred+saddle&itmmeta=01JCWRW4QB5SS11ZFX8KDWMB3R&hash=item3e1b58c123:g:Og4AAOSwmM1mCeqw&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKkWfuy4MxoMsoGrwb2giF5IuJ4JUgTU2sobSDUxWJJ10sEFzFekpJiuBA1RUgJDZT3BcLltngaRYdfZlWDBqDIuW8h9xlCDdZALoSOtQpSRe47adfMUnpkk4H3DUZflKOtKOl5JTDqNYsBWEdR5bIxefoBgwy%2FLiXqQufFVlWCCANyJRs7zFvxjx2zPVnY7u%2B9hsGIU1B4%2FLq50EP1J8SvaEFKXz1tRRTWqsH3KpAGG0hoN90GwbF2wAxLDkeRjx9jvJeGw3RRbpPDX99jeRTS9o51KFaqCLJzIXxSkvkyUSA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-TL8JjnZA That's the saddle and they want £110 USED. And the single speed frames seem to command decent money on the used market. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166940463387?_skw=inbred+on+one&itmmeta=01JCWRXAMN8GW0M7WRC1W1C62H&hash=item26de6d511b:g:rHcAAOSwovlmzdPf&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnglou7JHksNfzbpds5ZHq%2B6K7Gg%2F8jKo0lS%2Fw88V3fscSTfcW71enskrh3LBLi%2FwqWsYjd0DSrWYVJnI3eSjESH7fphYY5BP%2BwSOliuVCeNdYzzxbH%2BwIelzDEqelFESKo70TdnrFQVMNUQjPIAS%2BGS0WWHxT%2FLKFyVJkF03R%2F6BM28TTet1e%2BQxKxgJN4gCWorRud3Ul8VMfLlCiQhEUi53Elq2oB9S38mlf711AYvdhswdZFCKWjWM2VinoRx7TNmVm5I2TAd8Qnn0ojSc09dZisy9qNF6iw7ReEjNA%2F3g%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR7Sq9ZjnZA This one here is for £600! Few teething issues just snagging the bike yesterday morning and then went to go ride the bike and came back to a flat tyre. Not sure if it was a defective inner tube as the puncture repair kit just melted the inner tube. So I've ordered some more inner tubes and if I can be bothered could cycle over to Halfrauds and buy one so I can use it today. The floating parts of the disc were fouling the bike/caliper so some minor adjustments needed and setting the chain tension etc. But it's basically there. Went around the block and I probably need to drop a few teeth on the front chain ring as I won't be doing any uphill cycling with it as it is. Fast on the flat though

@Calum no worries mate. I would take a cad file if you wouldn’t mind sharing will likely send them off to a local machinist. I have a 3d printer as well so could try the cad file on there!

You might have to earth out a wire on the CDI unit on your bike. There are some weird restrictions I don’t know about. Like my TZR had a black/green stripe wire earthed out on it…

@pedrobatista10 I'm sorry to hear that. BMW550d sounds nice though. At least you're still alive and breathing and it is good to hear from you. Maybe one day you can get an adapted shifter two stroke kart and enjoy that

@Calum What an excellent use of space, and a first rate job!! Steel section on the bench and a pillar drill somewhere will finish it off nicely.

@rraleks Who says it’s running lean? Overheating is caused by different things, lean is one possibility only. Check your radiator coolant level please mate... No way the crank has a 5.5mm longer throw! It’d of locked solid against the head... Please check your radiator coolant level!... I ran my bike well lean for 1000’s of miles without damaging the piston. It was only when my head gasket blew and emptied my radiator that it ran it hot enough to eat the piston, in the same way as yours...

@spookdog yes metal type it seems fine with the rubber gasket but if I can't sort the squishing issue then I'll just go back to paper gaskets

@donaldmendez Thanks, it didn't take anyway near as long as I thought to get it up and running. I've just been doing some final touches. I'm going to ride this one on nice days Here's how she stands now.
