@calum I have found the details of my carb it is

    PHBH28 Dellorto carb

    main: 142
    choke: 60
    atomiser: 266d
    needle: x18
    pilot :45

I have removed the oil pump and installed the plate cover for hole. Tomorrow engine is coming back after bottom rebuild. Just thinking should I change jetting. Any advice

@tdrnoob I'm not familiar with that carburetor myself, as said, jet accordingly.

If it's detonating, if it's spluttering, then you may need to jet to suit.

But at a guess I wouldn't have thought you'd need to rejet.

You should be able to get any spares you need from Allens Performance who stock parts for all makes of carb

@nottsbiker Hi. You wrote earlier to increase the jetting by 5%. It has pilot jet and main jet so do you mean those two to change to higher ones by 5%?

I will test the bike with the original ones first

Ps I've picked up a complete pdf of the 3SH parts list with full pictures and Yamaha part numbers from the German TDR forum.

I'm currently in France on holiday but can email it to you when I'm near some wifi if it's any use to you?

I'm not an expert on jetting just relaying what I'd read years back. If in doubt get it set up by a tuner

@Nottsbiker is there many pages? It would be great if we can get them uploaded into a thread of their own.

                        Quick update

So my TDR belgarda had a full engine rebuild by Roadrunners motorcycles.

Also I have started premix. I used about 35 ml of 2 stroke oil to mix with the petrol.

                        There is video

                        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjEHSmpNIgg

                        What do you think guys?

Just wondering if it everything ok.

I used 200ml oil to a full tanks. Approx 10 litres.

Lovely little whistle to that engine too. Sounds great.

Sounds a bit chirpy? Can't think what would cause that, unless its just the recording

Sounds like the engine is very tight to me from the rebuild. Hard to tell from a YouTube video

Looks like you are making good progress though mate 🙂
