Forum patched and updated. Fixed some database corruption issues which was having a knock-on effect with emojis so hopefully they're working now.

Hey All! Due to personal circumstances I will be needing to suspend the DT125R Forum for an indeterminate amount of time. This is an advance notice to say that at some point, in the not to distant future, I will be switching off this forum. My intention is to relocate the forum/database hosting as the current situation is no longer economically viable. It is unclear at the moment as to what the future will be for this forum, but rest assured it will be back online in the fullness of time. Not bike-related, but this seems like the right place to ask since a few of you have probably furnished a place recently. I'm in South Carolina and looking to replace the couch in my living room, mostly because the cushions on the current one have gone flat after a few years of daily use. I live alone, no pets, no kids, so it mostly just gets sat on for TV and reading, but I'd like something that doesn't sag within a year or two. The thing I keep going back and forth on is fabric versus leather, and whether it's worth paying more for a brand with a longer frame warranty or just going with something cheaper and replacing it sooner. I've been reading up on what's out there for 2026 models, but the options are a bit overwhelming. If you've bought a couch recently, what did you go with and how has it held up?

Another update, seems like it was fitted with powervalve servo from tzr125, hence why cables are crossed but still follow 1-1 2-2 arrangment i need to wait for battery to come in order to see if thats what setup should be in order to open properly

Hey everyone! I just got done rebuilding the rear end of my DTR. I changed the rear shock lower bearing, the linkage bushings and collars and seals. For the shock bearing and the linkage bushings I decided to go with PTFE lined bushings instead of oem. I read that these don't require any grease at all, so I ended up running them dry but my gut is telling me that's not right. My question is wether you think I should've greased them and will running them dry shorten their lifespan. Thank you

Otherwise, I found some decent-looking kits on eBay, but they ship from the UK, and with shipping costs and import taxes, they end up costing more than €50 and i dont know if they are worth it.

The earthing detail is the part that trips people up: tying the brown wire to a good ground and isolating it at the connector is what makes the single-diode setup behave. On the flasher, a proper LED unit matters as much as the diode, since a stock thermal unit won't see the lower current draw. I'd also add a quick check with a meter after soldering to confirm the diode direction before buttoning it up. Curious whether the same wiring split holds across both your 2005 and 2006 harnesses.
