@HOTSHOT-III Hopefully the issue gets resolved as I don't want to lose the data they're hosting. The important stuff I ought to host here to guarantee it isn't lost.

That's so cool! It's been ages since I have been on my DT. I ought to sort the bits out on it and get it up and running again. My ETX is close to being done as well and that thing will rip when it's finished

You can take a piece of soldering tin and bend it and stick it through the plug hole to get a rough measurement of the squish. If the solder is not pinched you can 'double twist' it to get a reading. This should give you an idea if it's the cause. A good value should be 1mm or slightly less IMO. You can find different thickness base gaskets in some places, like here: https://www.motorsportgoetz.com/Cylinder-Base-Gasket-03mm-Yamaha-DT-TDR-TZR-125

My dt has AC wiring, mainly because it has HPI electrics. I was wondering is it possible to use the ypv system with ac wiring? If so how? I have regulator for lights and such but since the voltage output changes with the rpms i dont know if it would ruin the servo or not. Or should i add a small battery where servo gets its power? Really dont know and also i sont have an ingition key system since it has AC wiring.

So i have a dt125re 07. Everything works and is all good on it, it runs well shifts nice and speed is nice thru out 1-5gears. On 5th gear im hittibg around 100km/h and on 6th im hittin 105? With rpms lowish but the rpms also dont get any highwr than like i'd say 6-8k. I dont have a rpm meter or anything that shows rpm thats why im guessing. The bike doesnt have servo motor or anything else on the ypvs, it only has the covers and the valves. Carb is tuned to as good as i can get it. Setup 34mm pwk Ported ypvs valves. Boyesen reed valves Athena full piping 125cc If anyone can help me fiqure this out i would appreciate it alot, and vefore you say i need to buy the whole ypvs system i will be doing that as soon as i find one!
