DT125R FORUM

Forum patched and updated. Fixed some database corruption issues which was having a knock-on effect with emojis so hopefully they're working now.

Hey All! Due to personal circumstances I will be needing to suspend the DT125R Forum for an indeterminate amount of time. This is an advance notice to say that at some point, in the not to distant future, I will be switching off this forum. My intention is to relocate the forum/database hosting as the current situation is no longer economically viable. It is unclear at the moment as to what the future will be for this forum, but rest assured it will be back online in the fullness of time. I appreciate each and every one of you that contributes to this forum so there is a BIG thank you from me. Take care & keep smoking! Calum

@calum the more i think about it the more it makes sense to me, foubd couple of pictures online and all of them have brass ball fitted, im just not sure if its fixed or its with spring, also found that the part is ventilation channel to the main nozzle/mixing tube, closed by a pressed-in ball, on here: https://dtpedia.de/mediawiki/index.php/Vergaser:_Mikuni_TM28SS No wonder it would bog and not idle, air going strait to main nozzle and airscrew having little to no effect..

Due to the exposure that these bearings receive, it's recommended to grease them. The bearings themselves are exposed to a grease nipple so you should be able to just apply grease through their nipples directly.

I don't mess around when it comes to fueling. Just buy the genuine kits. I can't guess about how much I have spent on Dellorto odds and sods, but now have a healthy collection of bits should I ever need to jet my bikes I can breathe easy know it's all legit parts.

Also don't forget to change bulb in light cluster for an led Kind regards
