@Bananper I would know i'm afraid. The TZR Belgarda uses a 3MB Engine. I can't remember if I used the coils from that engine on my loom. I would have thought so. But I don't know about the 2RK models. The Belgarda engines should be somewhat scarce.

Make sure the starter motor is fastened appropriately to the engine. Make sure the starter bendix has not come away from its housing. Ensure the teeth on the flywheel are secured. 2003 DTR's did not have starter motors. It was on the final revisions of the DTRE's that had the starter motors. So it sounds like you've had an engine/loom swap at some point?

I don't think so, stators are self regulating. I don't know the internal workings of one. But an alternator uses battery power to generate power. But the DT uses a generator, so no battery power is needed. So for example, if a high load is demanded on an alternator, it could wear it out, but I don't think that's true for a generator. I don't know....

@jonne123 you can reset the trip counter by inserting a close fitting screwdriver (something tapered would wedge in nicely) into the hole left by the snapped off reset knob and turning anti-clockwise. Then providing this works ok for you I would suggest finding a small round headed screw that fits snugly into it and glue it into place.

Ensure the powervalve can spin freely inside the exhaust port. Dirty, gummed up valves will cause the powervalve to operate abnormally.

I run that on my DT RE https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Racing-Performance-Ignition-Coil-Yamaha-DT-125-RE-2006/152317014956?hash=item2376cd33ac:g:X8gAAOSwcUBYKOsT The problem is, the CDI's, generator and stator is different from both models. I wouldn't want to run the wrong coil, generate a weak spark, loss of performance.

No, won't work that way. Senses by induced voltage from current running to spark plug.

@Mike1992 well the issue was that one wire had broken and after one evening of riding and doing some wheelies my stator blew and now im looking for a new one
