@jonne123 you can reset the trip counter by inserting a close fitting screwdriver (something tapered would wedge in nicely) into the hole left by the snapped off reset knob and turning anti-clockwise. Then providing this works ok for you I would suggest finding a small round headed screw that fits snugly into it and glue it into place.

This issue I found to be a break in the wire that you ground from the cdi when derestricting the bike. went completely back to normal once I reterminated the connection. sorry for the late update on this, better late than never though haha could help someone in the future with a similar issue

Ensure the powervalve can spin freely inside the exhaust port. Dirty, gummed up valves will cause the powervalve to operate abnormally.

I run that on my DT RE https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Racing-Performance-Ignition-Coil-Yamaha-DT-125-RE-2006/152317014956?hash=item2376cd33ac:g:X8gAAOSwcUBYKOsT The problem is, the CDI's, generator and stator is different from both models. I wouldn't want to run the wrong coil, generate a weak spark, loss of performance.

No, won't work that way. Senses by induced voltage from current running to spark plug.

@Calum saved Abit of money with the ignitech and I'm really happy with the new software etc to be fair though, and the spark is terrific out the unit!
