Thanks for the info after seeing what's inside the stock pipe today I'm not suprised they get hot they have an actual honeycomb cat in side no wonder I'm going to do away with it and get a dep I've give up worrying and just been having fun and the temp light hasn't come on I did 70 on it today with ease and I'm a big lad which was a surprise it stunk after though
@andrewj1680 yeah, I don't know the specifics, but the port timing isnt suited to the displacement, the ports need to be higher, it's a very midrange setup
Only a few have bothered to try and fix it
Could be a faulty CDI.
If you disconnect the cables completely does it at least go forwards and backwards.
Also the cleaning cycle is different after it has run that it is when you actually ride the back power on and off.
By that I mean when you turn the ignition on and off multiple times.
The servo will go from closed to open to closed to open. But once it's open it will only go from open to closed to open.
Sorry boys dumb question just finished my rebuild to realise that pv will do cleaning cycle then when started the pv moves to closed position then opens accordingly
@pelplouffe I know when you delete the side stand switch you need to loop it out, otherwise it'll have intermittent spark issues.
Not saying that this is you problem here, just one to be mindful of.
