@andrewj1680 Pretty sure the old one is still alive. The old one was fine, but the software was so out of date. As you say, it's a lot of work keeping it running, we've had a great deal of outages this year alone. It's nice to have a website where we all get along and a place to see what people are getting up to. I don't have Facebook or anything so this forum is my outlet. And it's good cause people don't post up pictures of their food or post boring stuff. It's always interesting to see what motors people are building etc. It's the members that make this forum what it is, so thank you for contributing.

@irongamer727 I bought a complete bike bud it was a dog of a bike to look at but it rode well with plenty power

Learn by your mistakes, we all do, learnt my lesson a long time ago and realise there is a time and place for everything, including riding "enthusiastically "

@cyber-ninja i dont know ive had a fair few bikes both carb and fuel injected from the motocross scene and i would definitely say the carb version was def more fun to ride

@calum I know mate I mean hurry up and get it out seems such a tragedy that the poor bike you put so much time and money into isn't being thrashed

@Minia what do you like about bikes in particular though? I love Design engineering and tuning, looking at how things work and the application of theory. But more importantly, it's better than most drugs riding motorcycles pretty much wherever! I've been into Cars forever and recently 2stroke bikes, but when it came to going University I realised that there is so much more to life than just being around motor vehicles all day every day. You have to be passionate, and super geeky into it, but that's okay, Develop your key skills and interests around them, that's the best advice I could give you. Nothing wrong with being a mechanic, but if you became a mechanical engineer, you would be able to be involved in much more detail and greater projects, Motorcycle or whatever... boats are sick too! My University lecturer once said.., 'look for the things that really turn you on, spark your creativity'
